2019 წლის 5 ივნისს, საქართველოს ეკონომიკისა და მდგრადი განვითარების სამინისტროს ინიციატივით შედგა ფოკუს ჯგუფის შეხვედრა, სადაც განხილული იყო მშენებლობის სექტორში არსებული ვაკანსიები, საჭირო უნარები და სამინისტროს მიერ განსახორციელებელი სექტორული კვლევის საკითხები.

ფოკუს ჯგუფის შეხვედრაზე მოწვეულები იყვნენ მშენებლობის სექტორის ბიზნესის წამომადგენლები, ჯამში 20 მონაწილე. შეხვედრა გახსნა საქართველოს ეკონომიკისა და მდგრადი განვითარების მინისტრის მოადგილემ ეკატერინე მიქაბაძემ. ფოკუს ჯგუფის შეხვედრას მოდერაცია გაუწია  ეკონომიკური პოლიტიკის დეპარტამენტის უფროსმა ცისნამი საბაძემ.

შეხვედრაზე მონაწილეებმა ისაუბრეს კომპანიებში არსებულ ვაკანსიებზე, სასურველი კადრების მოძიების სირთულეებზე, უნარების საჭიროებასა და ადამიანისეული კაპიტალის განვითარების გზებზე. დისკუსიისას მონაწილეებმა ისაუბრეს როგორც საქართველოს შრომის ბაზარზე გარკვეული პროფესიული კადრების ნაკლებობაზე, ასევე ცალკეული პროფესიული ჯგუფების სპეციალისტთა არარსებობაზე. მათი მხრიდან საუბარი შედგა კომპანიებიდან სამუშაო ძალის გადინების მიზეზებზეც.

შეხვედრაზე განხილული იყო სამინისტროს ინიციატივა, რაც მიზნად ისახავს მშენებლობის სექტორში უნარებზე საჭიროებათა კვლევას. დასასრულს მხარეები შეთანხმდნენ სამომავლოდ თანამშრომლობაზე.

On June 5, 2019, Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia organized the focus group meeting, where participants discussed types of existing vacancies in the construction sector, skills needs and issues of the sectoral study initiated by the ministry.

Representatives of the construction sector were invited to the focus group meeting, in sum 20 participants. Ekaterine Mikabadze, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia gave a welcome speech and spoke about the ministry’s activities regarding the labour market studies and analysis. Tsisnami Sabadze, Head of Economic Policy Department moderated the focus group meeting.  

Representatives of the construction sector spoke about existing vacancies, difficulties of hiring proper workforce, skills need and human capital development in the industry sector. During the meeting participants discussed lack of certain occupational groups, as well as the absence of skilled workers in the Georgian labour market. Also they spoke about reasons of workforce flow.

At the end, the moderator presented idea of the sectoral study dedicated to the construction sector. Namely, she introduced objectives of the survey, methodological frame and some parts of a questioner related to skills assessment by occupational groups. Finally, the parties agreed on future cooperation.
